Based on a comparison of 32 countries in 2015, Malta ranked the highest in Share of Female Population at some or severe risk of poverty before social transfers (pensions included in social transfers) with 78.5% followed by Hungary and Belgium. On the other end of the scale was Switzerland with 53.6%, Iceland with 58.6% and Denmark with 60.0%.
