Sesame oil production reached 566 tonnes in 2014 in Sri Lanka, according to Faostat. This is 1.05% less than in the previous year.
Historically, sesame oil production in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of 1,209 tonnes in 1982 and an all time low of 175 tonnes in 2002.
