Sesame oil production reached 108,000 tonnes in 2014 in India, according to Faostat. This is 11.2% less than in the previous year.
Historically, sesame oil production in India reached an all time high of 260,000 tonnes in 1990 and an all time low of 99,700 tonnes in 2010.
