Based on a comparison of 60 countries in 2014, Tanzania ranked the highest in sesame oil production with 544,293 tonnes followed by Myanmar and China. On the other end of the scale was Cyprus with 12.0 tonnes, El Salvador with 45.0 tonnes and Ukraine with 45.0 tonnes.
