Semi-chemical wood pulp production reached 1,142 kt in 2015 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 2.66% less than in the previous year.
Historically, semi-chemical wood pulp production in the European Union reached an all time high of 1,744 kt in 1974 and an all time low of 359 kt in 1961.
