Sales of pesticides reached 2,874 tonnes in 2006 in Ireland, according to Eurostat. This is 3.53% more than in the previous year.

Historically, sales of pesticides in Ireland reached an all time high of 3,104 tonnes in 2004 and an all time low of 1,470 tonnes in 1980.
