Sales of passenger cars reached 156 thousand in 2022 in Portugal, according to ACEA. This is 6.59% more than in the previous year.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Portugal reached an all time high of 939 thousand in 1987 and an all time low of 77.3 thousand in 1979.
