Sales of passenger cars reached 532 thousand in 2020 in Mexico, according to ACEA. This is 30.4% less than in the previous year.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Mexico reached an all time high of 1,066 thousand in 2016 and an all time low of 200 thousand in 1996.

Mexico has been ranked 15th within the group of 64 countries we follow in terms of sales of passenger cars.
