Sales of passenger cars reached 215 thousand in 2022 in Austria, according to ACEA. This is 10.3% less than in the previous year.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Austria reached an all time high of 356 thousand in 2011 and an all time low of 78.2 thousand in 1960.
