Based on a comparison of 28 countries in 2017, Poland ranked the highest in Rye - Area (cultivation/harvested/production) with 953 1,000 ha followed by Spain and Turkey. On the other end of the scale was Belgium with 0.590 1,000 ha, Luxembourg with 0.900 1,000 ha and Slovenia with 0.970 1,000 ha.
