Rural Population in European Union

Rural population reached 111 mil in 2021 in the European Union, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 1.06% less than in the previous year.

Historically, rural population in the European Union reached an all time high of 148 mil in 1960 and an all time low of 111 mil in 2021.
