Based on a comparison of 31 countries in 2015, Cyprus ranked the highest in road transport in tonne-km as a share of total inland freight transport with 100% followed by Malta and Iceland. On the other end of the scale was Latvia with 43.7%, Switzerland with 50.0% and Austria with 52.5%.
