Based on a comparison of 48 countries in 2021, Madagascar ranked the highest in risk premium on lending with 42.6% followed by Brazil and Sierra Leone. On the other end of the scale was Zambia with -11.3%, South Sudan with -4.32% and Egypt with -3.28%.
