Based on a comparison of 16 countries in 2017, Ireland ranked the highest in residential property price index, 1970=100% (USD) with 6,757% followed by New Zealand and Australia. On the other end of the scale was Germany with 377%, Japan with 920% and Netherlands with 1,254%.
