Based on a comparison of 60 countries in 2021, South Korea ranked the highest in researchers in R&D per mil of people with 8,408 persons followed by Sweden and Denmark. On the other end of the scale was Myanmar with 33.1 persons, Togo with 46.9 persons and Iraq with 123 persons.
