Based on a comparison of 35 countries in 2015, Bulgaria ranked the highest in real effective exchange rate (unit labour costs - 18 trading partners - EURo area, 2005=100) a with 151 Index, 2005=100 followed by Estonia and Latvia. On the other end of the scale was Ireland with 77.1 Index, 2005=100, Japan with 80.2 Index, 2005=100 and Hungary with 86.6 Index, 2005=100.
