Based on a comparison of 159 countries in 2016, Norway ranked the highest in pump prices for diesel fuel with USD 1.63 per litre followed by Iceland and United Kingdom. On the other end of the scale was Libya with USD 0.110 per litre, Saudi Arabia with USD 0.120 per litre and Egypt with USD 0.150 per litre.
