Based on a comparison of 144 countries in 2021, Niger ranked the highest in pulse consumption per capita with 50,212 kg followed by Burkina Faso and Ethiopia. On the other end of the scale was Indonesia with 65.8 kg, Brazil with 145 kg and Bulgaria with 145 kg.
