Based on a comparison of 26 countries in 2015, Slovenia ranked the highest in Protected Terrestrial Area (As % of total) with 38.0% followed by Croatia and Bulgaria. On the other end of the scale was Denmark with 8.00%, Lithuania with 12.0% and Latvia with 12.0%.
