Production of Motor Vehicles in Japan

Production of motor vehicles reached 8,068 thousand in 2020 in Japan, according to ACEA. This is 16.7% less than in the previous year.

Historically, production of motor vehicles in Japan reached an all time high of 13,487 thousand in 1990 and an all time low of 482 thousand in 1960.
