Based on a comparison of 21 countries in 2015, Italy ranked the highest in production of dessert pears with 686 kt followed by Netherlands and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Malta with 0 kt, Luxembourg with 0.300 kt and Latvia with 0.400 kt.
