Production of dates reached 187,870 tonnes in 2022 in Libya, according to Faostat. This is 3.90% more than in the previous year.
Historically, production of dates in Libya reached an all time high of 200,000 tonnes in 2003 and an all time low of 29,100 tonnes in 1961.
