Based on a comparison of 101 countries in 2014, Japan ranked the highest in production of cheese (skimmed cows' milk with 133,200 tonnes followed by Myanmar and Nigeria. On the other end of the scale was Georgia with 0.040 tonnes, Bhutan with 0.061 tonnes and Tajikistan with 0.150 tonnes.
