Based on a comparison of 12 countries in 2015, Switzerland ranked the highest in producer prices of raw tobacco with USD 16,280 /t followed by Germany and Italy. On the other end of the scale was Slovakia with USD 324 /t, Romania with USD 1,236 /t and Croatia with USD 1,237 /t.
