Based on a comparison of 31 countries in 2011, USA ranked the highest in private sources (as % of expenditure of public and private sources of funds on educational instituti with 32.1% followed by Japan and Liechtenstein. On the other end of the scale was Norway with 1.90%, Finland with 2.40% and Sweden with 2.80%.
