Based on a comparison of 127 countries in 2019, China ranked the highest in Primary Coal Imports (kt) with 1,992 1000 metric tons followed by India and Japan. On the other end of the scale was Malta with 4.80 1000 metric tons, Fiji with 21.0 1000 metric tons and Uruguay with 4.00 1000 metric tons.
