Based on a comparison of 12 countries in 2009, Denmark ranked the highest in average price of agricultural land with 193,000 National currency per hectare followed by Malta and Czechia. On the other end of the scale was Latvia with 716 National currency per hectare, Slovakia with 1,256 National currency per hectare and Lithuania with 3,354 National currency per hectare.
