Based on a comparison of 68 countries in 2020, Malawi ranked the highest in population at risk of poverty as a share of total population with 50.7% followed by Honduras and Mexico. On the other end of the scale was China with 49.8%, Ukraine with 1.40% and Belarus with 4.80%.
