Poppy Seed Production in European Union

Poppy seed production reached 48,010 tonnes in 2014 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 15.5% more than in the previous year.

Historically, poppy seed production in the European Union reached an all time high of 75,680 tonnes in 2008 and an all time low of 6,359 tonnes in 1968.
