Based on a comparison of 8 countries in 2007, Poland ranked the highest in pigs livestock in a herd size of 5-9 sows with 318 '000 followed by Luxembourg and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Lithuania with 1.00 '000, Portugal with 2.00 '000 and Bulgaria with 5.00 '000.
