Pigs Livestock by Herd Size (2,000-4,999 Sows)

Based on a comparison of 8 countries in 2007, Denmark ranked the highest in pigs livestock in a herd size of 2,000-4,999 sows with 867 '000 followed by Italy and United Kingdom. On the other end of the scale was Slovakia with 35.0 '000, Latvia with 45.0 '000 and Cyprus with 59.0 '000.
