Based on a comparison of 4 countries in 2007, Luxembourg ranked the highest in pigs livestock in a herd size of 1,000 or more pigs for fattening with 14,473 '000 followed by Germany and Lithuania. On the other end of the scale was Bulgaria with 167 '000, Lithuania with 258 '000 and Germany with 3,433 '000.
