Pig iron production reached 53,700 kt in 2015 in Russia, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 4.47% more than in the previous year.
Historically, pig iron production in Russia reached an all time high of 55,022 kt in 2006 and an all time low of 36,462 kt in 1998.
