Pig iron production reached 17,005 kt in 2015 in Iran, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 1.89% less than in the previous year.
Historically, pig iron production in Iran reached an all time high of 17,333 kt in 2014 and an all time low of 2.00 kt in 1972.
