Petrol-Fuelled Cars (As % of New Cars Sold) in Sweden

Petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold reached 21.9% in 2022 in Sweden, according to ACEA. This is 28.8% less than in the previous year.

Historically, petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in Sweden reached an all time high of 99.4% in 1990 and an all time low of 21.9% in 2022.

Sweden has been ranked 28th within the group of 30 countries we follow in terms of petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold.
