Petrol-Fuelled Cars (As % of New Cars Sold) in Iceland

Petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold reached 11.9% in 2022 in Iceland, according to ACEA. This is 22.1% less than in the previous year.

Historically, petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in Iceland reached an all time high of 87.5% in 2002 and an all time low of 11.9% in 2022.

Iceland has been ranked 29th within the group of 30 countries we follow in terms of petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold.
