Based on a comparison of 30 countries in 2022, Bulgaria ranked the highest in petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold with 73.4% followed by Cyprus and Slovenia. On the other end of the scale was Norway with 2.49%, Iceland with 11.9% and Sweden with 21.9%.
