Persimmon production reached 85,997 tonnes in 2014 in Taiwan, according to Faostat. This is 7.50% more than in the previous year.

Historically, persimmon production in Taiwan reached an all time high of 90,100 tonnes in 2011 and an all time low of 1,804 tonnes in 1963.
