Perlite production reached 3,000 tonnes in 2015 in Chile, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 275% more than in the previous year.
Historically, perlite production in Chile reached an all time high of 4,800 tonnes in 2013 and an all time low of 800 tonnes in 2014.
