Pepper production reached 1,686 tonnes in 2014 in Uganda, according to Faostat. This is 19.2% less than in the previous year.
Historically, pepper production in Uganda reached an all time high of 2,503 tonnes in 2007 and an all time low of 500 tonnes in 1961.
Uganda has been ranked 18th within the group of 40 countries we follow in terms of pepper production.
