Based on a comparison of 40 countries in 2014, Vietnam ranked the highest in pepper production with 151,000 tonnes followed by Indonesia and India. On the other end of the scale was Mali with 17.5 tonnes, Bolivia with 27.2 tonnes and Brunei with 27.5 tonnes.
