Passenger cars per 1,000 people reached 518 vehicles in 2015 in the European Union, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 1.57% more than in the previous year.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in the European Union reached an all time high of 518 vehicles in 2015 and an all time low of 475 vehicles in 2005.
