Based on a comparison of 31 countries in 2015, Ireland ranked the highest in participation rates in education - from 15 to 24 years with 76.6% followed by Slovenia and Netherlands. On the other end of the scale was Macedonia with 17.5%, Cyprus with 43.2% and Malta with 46.9%.
