Based on a comparison of 15 countries in 2016, Italy ranked the highest in official production of white wine with 26,118 1,000 hl followed by France and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Belgium with 8.50 1,000 hl, Malta with 10.2 1,000 hl and Cyprus with 30.9 1,000 hl.
