Official production of pdo wine reached 17.0 1,000 hl in 2016 in Bulgaria, according to Eurostat. This is 54.5% more than in the previous year.
Historically, official production of PDO wine in Bulgaria reached an all time high of 45.0 1,000 hl in 2010 and an all time low of 11.0 1,000 hl in 2015.
