Based on a comparison of 62 countries in 2012, USA ranked the highest in number of thefts recorded by the police with 6,150,598 followed by Germany and United Kingdom. On the other end of the scale was Montenegro with 857, Tajikistan with 3,669 and Armenia with 4,019.
