Based on a comparison of 19 countries in 2015, Poland ranked the highest in number of railway locomotives with 4,033 vehicles followed by France and Czechia. On the other end of the scale was Macedonia with 43.0 vehicles, Ireland with 56.0 vehicles and Slovenia with 156 vehicles.
