Based on a comparison of 18 countries in 2016, Germany ranked the highest in number of new lower-medium cars sold with 1,100 thousand followed by United Kingdom and France. On the other end of the scale was Iceland with 4.42 thousand, Luxembourg with 14.0 thousand and Greece with 19.2 thousand.
