Number of kidnappings recorded by the police reached 292 in 2010 in Ukraine, according to the United Nations. This is 13.6% less than in the previous year.
Historically, number of kidnappings recorded by the police in Ukraine reached an all time high of 338 in 2009 and an all time low of 172 in 2004.
