Non-performing loans reached UGX 859 bil in fourth quarter of 2020 in Uganda, according to the National Central Bank. This is 6.37% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans in Uganda reached an all time high of UGX 1,203 bil in 4Q2016 and an all time low of UGX 22.2 bil in 1Q2005.
Uganda has been ranked 15th within the group of 71 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans.
